Re “Behind the wheel, hands free,” Letters, June 16
Reader Andie Ximenes of Los Angeles correctly acknowledges that hands-free technology in cars “is new and that in time drivers will adapt to these systems and will learn how to manage all this new information.” He suggests we will eventually use this technology safely.
My question: Is it OK, then, to kill and maim a few folks during the learning curve?
