Baseball: Viewpoint wins protest; semifinal to be replayed Thursday

Calabasas Viewpoint and Avalon will replay their Southern Section-Toyota Division VII baseball semifinal at 2 p.m. Thursday at Long Beach Millikan after the Southern Section upheld Viewpoint’s protest.

Viewpoint lost to Avalon, 8-7, on Wednesday at Avalon but lodged a protest before the game that Avalon was not using a regulation field.
