Baseball: Marine League title on the line

Wilmington Banning can clinch the Marine League title with a victory Tuesday afternoon over host San Pedro in a game about to get underway.

San Pedro pitcher Jon Mata (8-1) will try to shut down the Pilots, who are 8-0 in league play. He will be opposed by Jonathan Hernandez (7-2).

The Pirates are 7-1 in league, with their only loss coming last month against Gardena.
