Boys’ basketball: The official Katin Reinhardt injury

There has been much speculation about what is exactly wrong with the right hand of Santa Ana Mater Dei guard Katin Reinhardt.

The official injury, according to his father as told by Coach Gary McKnight, is ‘slight fracture’ of his thumb and also a ‘sprained thumb.’

The hand was taped on Tuesday when Reinhardt scored 21 points in a win over Loyola.
