Alemany Girls Soccer Team Wins Again, 3-1

Freshman Shannon Lambert scored all three goals as the Alemany High School girls soccer team stayed unbeaten in the Golden league with a 3-1 win over Canyon Wednesday afternoon.
Lambert scored once on the first half and added two more in the second half. One of her second-half scores was unassisted.
Alemany is now 2-0-1 in the Golden League and 7-3-1 for the season.
The team played good defense with Robynn Eastman, another freshman, minding the nets.
In a Tuesday afternoon game, David Fursman, Kirk Autio, and John Denton each scored second-half goals to lead LA Baptist to a 4-1 victory over visiting Webb in Alpha League boys soccer. The win improved LA Baptist’s record to 4-0 and 9-2-1 overall. It was the 20th straight league win for the Knights.
