A skier who spent the night in sub-freezing weather in the Sierra Nevada west of Lake Tahoe was found in good condition except for slight hypothermia. A Placer County sheriff’s rescue team found Bruce Pennington, 29, of Lafayette. He was still on his skis one mile east of Hell Hole Reservoir, where he had strayed from the Squaw Valley resort about 10 miles aways.
