Ivan Boesky sold his stake in a Santa Barbara S&L;.

Northview Corp., of which the New York financier is chairman, said it sold its 9.8% stake in Financial Corp. of Santa Barbara for $1.72 million--or $4 a share--on Jan. 15. San Diego-based Northview, which recently changed its name from Vagabond Hotels, acquired the stock in October, 1983, for about $4.5 million. The company later reached an agreement to acquire majority control of the Santa Barbara S&L; holding company, but the deal fell through last June.
