Michael Tenzer Receives Award

Michael L. Tenzer, chairman and chief executive officer of Leisure Technology, has been presented the National Humanitarian Award from the National Jewish Hospital/National Asthma Center.
He received the honor Thursday at the hospital organization’s first real estate industry dinner honoring a Southern California leader. The dinner was given at the Beverly Wilshire.
Tenzer is pioneering communities for senior citizens combining housing shelter and health care facilities. Leisure Technology, one of the largest producers of adult and retirement communities nationwide, is developing 12 communities designed principally for those at or approaching retirement age.
