SAN JOSE DEL CABO, Mexico — Two Colombians will be arraigned on charges stemming from their arrest for smuggling 1,500 pounds of cocaine into Mexico, authorities said Tuesday.
Fabio Prior Moreno and Javier Tejada were arrested last week upon landing their private plane in San Jose del Cabo, on the Baja California peninsula, after flying in from Agua Chica, Colombia.
The federal attorney general’s office said the two men will be arraigned on charges of possession and importation of drugs, flying a plane into Mexico without permission and health code violations.
