A Lemon Grove man pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Superior Court on Monday in the Dec. 28 slaying of Cynthia Ann Bernard, 25, a night security guard at the Thousand Trails Trailer Park in Jacumba. Jerome Joseph Dixon, 23, entered the plea before Superior Court Judge Daniel J. Kremer, who set an April 29 sentencing date. An Imperial County resident, Bernard had worked for two weeks at the park, where Dixon’s parents also live.
