Mother, Girl Die, Second Hurt in High-Rise Plunge

NEW YORK — A mother and two daughters, aged 5 and 13, plunged from a 16th-floor apartment window Saturday, killing the woman and the older girl, police said. It was not clear whether the three jumped or were pushed. The younger girl was hospitalized in critical condition.
