Suspect in Gun Threats Surrenders in Valencia

A Valencia man surrendered to Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies late Sunday night after he threatened to kill members of his family and locked himself in a bathroom with a 12-gauge shotgun, authorities said Monday.
David Christy, 20, was not arrested on any charge, but was taken to Los Angeles County Olive View Medical Center in Sylmar for psychiatric observation, said Sgt. Jim Rupsa. No one was injured.
