Terrorism cannot be fought with kid gloves and according to civil rules of international behavior. Brutal terrorists will give in only to brutal reply.
Israel has 700 Shia Muslim prisoners. These prisoners could be made hostages, too.
If Israel announced that for every American hostage hurt, 10 Shia Muslims imprisoned in Israel would be shot, the hostage drama would be over soon.
