Informatics General, which has agreed to be acquired by Dallas-based Sterling Software, said its second-quarter net loss narrowed 51% while its revenue rose 24.6%. The Woodland Hills-based software company said its results for the three months ended June 30 reflected $2 million in expenses from its proxy fight with Sterling, which had made a hostile takeover offer for Informatics.
