Volunteers are being sought for the Temple City emergency reserve disaster relief program. They will receive 30 hours of training in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and basic concepts of disaster relief. Applicants must complete the training course, be at least 18 years old and live or work in Temple City. They also must be in good health, possess a valid California driver’s license and pass a Sheriff’s Department background investigation and an oral interview. Applications are availble in the Safety Services office at City Hall, 5938 N. Kaufman Ave.
