Raiders Sign Kick Returner Walker

The Raiders Thursday signed kick returner Fulton Walker, who was released last week by the Miami Dolphins. Walker practiced with the team and may start running kicks back Sunday against the New England Patriots at Foxboro, Mass.
Walker set the Super Bowl record with a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in 1983. He led the National Football League the next season with a 26.7 average.
This season, though, he has returned no kicks.
His arrival may spell the end for Sammy Seale on the kick-return team. Last Sunday, Seale tried to return the first two 49er kicks from his own end zone and was tackled at the Raider 13 and 8.
To make room for Walker, the Raiders released reserve linebacker Tony Caldwell.
