Robin Romeo of Sepulveda tied for eighth in a $25,000 women’s bowling tournament in Syracuse, N.Y., Wednesday. Romeo’s 40-game pin total of 9,354 left her about 100 shy of qualifying as a finalist. She won $875.
Jim Vreeke of Simi Valley won the superbike division and Steve Reynosa of Woodland Hills won the interceptor division in the West Coast Superbike Series at Willow Springs on Sunday.
Don Wright Jr. of Simi Valley finished fourth overall Sunday in the 20-lap main event race in NASCAR Pro Stock competition at Ascot Park.
