Seattle-based Alaska Airlines named Raymond J. Vecci executive vice president and chief operating officer.
He succeeds President Gus Robinson, who is to retire early next year.
Chairman and Chief Executive Bruce R. Kennedy will assume the additional title of president. Vecci had been vice president-planning since 1979.
