Ship That Caused Spill Departs Amid Cleanup

PORT ANGELES, Wash. — A tanker that leaked more than 100,000 gallons of crude oil off the Olympic Peninsula departed Thursday as cleanup crews faced at least another week of work.
The Atlantic Richfield Co. tanker resumed its voyage to a refinery, company spokesman Scott Loll said. The oil began leaking when the vessel ran aground Saturday.
