Shopping Mall Project Begun

Construction has started on a $6-million, 12-acre shopping center at Brookhurst Street and Katella Avenue in Garden Grove.
Garden Grove Towne Center, a project of PSB Realty, will consist of 43,000 square feet of retail shopping space, in addition to a 40,000-square-foot Safeway supermarket. It is expected to open in August.
