SCC Drops Close One to Fresno Pacific

Ricky Salata hit a 25-foot baseline jumper with 10 seconds left to break a 70-70 tie and give Fresno Pacific a 72-70 win over Southern California College in NAIA Division II conference action in Fresno Saturday night.

The Vanguards (3-4, 13-8) had tied the game with 15 seconds left on guard Randy Mcallister’s basket. Mcallister scored 17 points for SCC. The Sunbirds are 3-4 in conference and 9-10 overall.
