HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER : Mutch Too Much for Thousand Oaks

Shannon Mutch scored three goals to lead the Newbury Park High girls soccer team to a 5-1 Marmonte League win over Thousand Oaks.
Rocky Pouget of Newbury Park scored one goal, while teammate Lara Nesbitt had a goal and an assist. Kristin Mealiffe scored the only goal for Thousand Oaks.
Newbury Park is 2-5-3 in league, 3-8-4 overall.
Chaminade 10, Brentwood 0--Goalie Mitzi Dito recorded her fourth shutout of the season in a Sunshine League game on Thursday.
The Eagles, ranked 10th in the Southern Section’s 2-A Division, got three goals from Erika Donner and Amy Miller, two goals from Cris Casazza, and goals from Jennifer Eikenmeyer and Erika Vote.
Chaminade is 9-0 in league, 10-4-1 overall. Brentwood is 0-8 in league, 1-8-1 overall.
Alemany 1, Hart 0--Alemany clinched the Golden League girls soccer title.
Yvette Lopez scored the goal for the Indian Maidens, while goalie Lisa Gonzalez recorded her sixth shutout.
Alemany is 7-0 in league, 15-3-1 overall. Hart is 3-4 in league.
