Secretary of State George P. Shultz will travel to four European countries next month and wind up in the Vatican on Easter for an audience with Pope John Paul II, the State Department announced. Over a nine-day period beginning March 21, Shultz plans to visit France, Turkey, Greece and Italy and will see government officials in those countries. In Paris, he will also address the international conference of the Stanford University Alumni Assn. Shultz is on leave as a professor of management and public policy at Stanford’s business school.
