Christians and Jews to Honor Executive Trio

The National Conference of Christians and Jews will honor Albert A. Dorman, David O. Maxwell and Martin Seaton on Thursday at the 14th annual Real Estate & Construction Industries Dinner at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel.
Dorman, a licensed architect and engineer, is chairman and chief executive officer of a group of architectural, engineering and planning firms, including Daniel, Mann, Johnson & Mendenhall of Los Angeles; Holmes & Narver of Orange, and Williams Brothers Engineering Co. of Tulsa, Okla.
Maxwell, founder of Ticor Mortgage Insurance Co., is chairman and chief executive officer of Fannie Mae. Seaton is president of Cadillac Fairview Industrial Development Business Unit and executive vice president and director of the parent firm, Cadillac Fairview Corp.
All three are also active in community affairs. Dorman is a director of the California Chamber of Commerce, director and member of the executive committee of the Los Angeles area Chamber of Commerce and a board member of the City of Hope.
Maxwell is a board member of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, the board of trustees and executive committee of the Urban Institute, on the board of directors of the National Symphony Orchestra and corporate advisory board of Second Genesis, a drug rehabilitation organization.
Seaton is a board member of the Central City Assn. of the Greater Los Angeles Visitors and Convention Bureau and a member of the Canada California Chamber of Commerce.
The awards dinner will start at 7:30 p.m., following cocktails at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will support the National Conference’s human relations programs.
