Directors of Silvercrest Industries, a Santa Ana-based mobile home manufacturer, have appointed Richard Simonian as the company’s new president and chief executive officer. Simonian, 54, previously was president of Santiago Corp., a mobile home park development firm acquired by Silvercrest in a stock merger last January. Howard Sherman, 63, a founder of Silvercrest, is stepping down as the company’s chief executive officer in charge of day-to-day operations but will remain as chairman of the board, according to a company spokesman.
