Two men who had been playing cards in a Los Angeles textile factory after hours were shot and killed by a third player who apparently became provoked, brandished a handgun, fired and fled. Police identified the suspect as Ramon Adan Delgado, the 39-year-old owner of the Soft Touch curtain factory. Delgado and the victims, whose names were being withheld until their families can be notified, were Mexican nationals who apparently came from the same hometown, police said.
