Cyclist Struck by Car: An unidentified man was in critical condition at UCI Medical Center Sunday after being struck by a car Saturday night as he bicycled across Lincoln Avenue, a police spokesman said. The man was riding across at Vine Street shortly before 10 p.m. when he was struck by a car driven by a Yorba Linda man. The bicyclist had no lights on as he crossed the street, Anaheim Police Sgt. Frank VanDeWeerd said. The driver of the car was not cited, VanDeWeerd said. The cyclist, who was carrying no identification, was taken to the medical center in Orange, where he remains unconscious, suffering from major head injuries, VanDeWeerd said.
