Countywide : Bar Assn. Will Sponsor ‘Youth-in-the-Law’ Day

The Orange County Bar Assn. will sponsor the first annual “Youth-in-the-Law” Day Thursday. High school students will be teamed with judges, public defenders, district attorneys and other court officials for one day to offer a close look at the judicial system.
Students will observe court proceedings, including jury selection, will tour jail facilities and will sit in on negotiations between deputy public defenders and deputy district attorneys.
