Four San Diego men were arrested Thursday in connection with $750,000 in stolen property taken throughout East County, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said this week.
A burglary task force from the Lemon Grove and Santee sheriff’s stations, aided by San Diego police, began investigating after noticing an increase in auto thefts in East County.
The men were arrested at a Mission Valley motel, where police recovered four stolen cars, videocassette recorders, silver, antiques, credit cards, vases, jewelry and construction equipment.
Additional goods were found at the home of one of the suspects.
