Trio-Tech International, a Burbank maker of semiconductor testing equipment, lost $205,000, or 8 cents a share, in its third quarter ended March 28. A year ago the company earned $709,000, or 23 cents a share.
Revenue in the most recent quarter was $3.9 million, down 33%.
Company President Charles Wilson said the latest results reflect the continuing slump in the semiconductor business. Besides making testing equipment, Trio-Tech runs semiconductor testing labs around the world.
