Mexican Taxes

Regarding Mexico travel tax, with departure, hotel service, plus etc. (letter from Pamela White, May 4): On a recent fishing trip to Cabo San Lucas I realized only when checking out of the Finisterra Hotel that the Mexican government incorporated new taxes. I suggest that readers check into the package offered to them for Mexico travel, and make sure that all taxes are paid up front, including transfers, before departure. Otherwise you could arrive home almost broke, as I did. The transfers were $40 each person round trip.
