Dalai Lama Off to France

PARIS — The Dalai Lama, the 50-year-old exiled spiritual leader of Tibet who lives in India, left for France on Wednesday for a private visit, officials in Paris said. He will arrive in the Mediterranean port of Marseilles and spend five days in the town of Digne.
