Swedish Hospitals on Strike

STOCKHOLM — Ten hospitals in Sweden virtually shut down as doctors and other municipal employees went on strike Thursday for higher salaries. About 9,000 members of a union of municipally employed health and social workers walked off their jobs in the morning in a selective strike.
