Chinese Teams to Play in Table Tennis Event

Men’s and women’s teams from the People’s Republic of China will compete in the third annual California International table tennis tournament Saturday and Sunday at Alhambra High School.

Also entered are teams from Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India and the United States.

The Chinese team is led by Geng Lijuan, the No. 1 women’s player in the world.
