2 Hurt in Kentucky Prison as Inmates Riot Over Food

EDDYVILLE, Ky. — About 150 inmates, reportedly upset about prison food, rioted Monday at the maximum security Kentucky State Penitentiary, setting fires and pelting guards with anything they could grab, authorities said. Two injuries were reported in the disturbance, which ended when inmates were forced into their cells with tear gas and warning shots.
