The Seattle Seahawks signed veteran quarterback Paul McDonald, who was released by the Cleveland Browns last month.
The left-handed McDonald, who played his entire six-year NFL career in Cleveland after coming out of USC, started for the Browns in 1984 but lost his job to rookie Bernie Kosar last season. He finished the 1985 season as the Browns’ third-string quarterback behind Kosar and Greg Landry.
