James J. McPhee has been named president of the National Mortgage Network unit of Santa Ana-based CompuFund Inc., a new position. Before joining the company, McPhee was president of Today’s American Builder in Portland, Ore., a franchiser of house-building companies.
CompuFund also named Richard Betchley president and chief executive of its mortgage lending unit, Network Funding Corp. Betchley replaces Kenneth C. Fielder, who remains CompuFund’s chief financial officer. Betchley had been chairman, president and chief executive of People’s Mortgage Co. of Seattle.
In addition to making mortgage loans, CompuFund provides computerized mortgage information and loan origination service.
