District Judge Joe Kegans changed the date of a hearing in Houston from today to Friday in the case of the arrests of the New York Met pitcher Ron Darling and second baseman Tim Teufel last weekend.
The players were arrested early last Saturday morning outside Cooter’s nightclub on charges of assaulting a police officer. They were released that afternoon.
Met pitchers Bob Ojeda and Rick Aguilera were also seized, on charges of hindering arrest.
