Toys “R” Us Building Facility on Irwindale Site

A new California distribution center for Toys “R” Us, reportedly the world’s largest toy specialty retailing chain, is nearing completion on a 12.7-acre site in Irwindale.
The $9-million facility at 5793 Martin Road is located in a redevelopment area of that community and is being financed by industrial development bonds.
The building is a tilt-up structure with a pre-cast concrete mezzanine that will serve both as an office area and as an elevated storage facility. Completion is scheduled for mid-August.
