Accolades on Expo

A special tip of the hat to the Canadian government, the British Columbian government, and especially to the people of Vancouver is in order for their fine organization and presentation of Expo 86.
The hospitality of Vancouver citizens and the cleanliness of the city is unsurpassed. The favorable exchange rate made the stay even more pleasant.
As far as crowds are concerned, the wait in line is not much worse than the ones in amusement parks here in California. The abundance of regional foods throughout the park adds to the international flavor.
I would also like to thank the Times Travel Section for Richard Low’s article on how to prepare for Expo (July 13). His advice really came in handy.
