Another great moment in bad timing--the three-hour special “After the Sexual Revolution” featured profiles of tired-looking, middle-aged women going to work at their low-paid clerical and key-punch operator jobs to help support their families and then going home after work to take care of the kids. The commercial breaks featured gorgeous young models in ads for soft drinks and cosmetics, no doubt earning incredible amounts of money in modeling fees and commercial residuals and happy to be spared the financial horrors of raising a family.
