Late Friday Prep Football : Tustin Wins, Brea-Olinda Loses in Openers

Tustin High School defeated Kapaa, 26-0, in a game at Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, Friday night, giving Tiller Coach Marijon Ancich his 199th career victory.
The Tillers took a 20-0 halftime lead. Tim Hollinger opened the scoring on a two-yard touchdown run. Mark Ropele then kicked a 39-yard field goal and Tim Kotlar a 37-yard field goal.
Robert Prochnow closed out Tustin’s first-half scoring by catching a 32-yard pass from George Menges. Hollinger scored on a one-yard run in the third quarter.
In another game at Hawaii:
Baldwin 27, Brea-Olinda 14--Jon Viela scored two touchdowns to lead Baldwin at Maui. Viela scored on a 13-yard run in the first quarter and a 22-yard run in the fourth quarter.
Brea-Olinda’s Mike Oziminski scored on two short runs in the second half.
