Woman Found in Trunk of Car

A California Highway Patrol officer who stopped to check out a car parked on the shoulder of the Harbor Freeway near Florence Avenue during rush hour this morning heard noises coming from the trunk and found a woman gagged and bound inside, according to police. The 30-year-old woman told officers that she was robbed and stuffed in the trunk by three men after her car had a flat tire. The woman was treated for minor bruises at a local hospital and released.
