LaMark Allen of Saugus recovered a fumble and ran 29 yards for a touchdown with 5:24 left in the third quarter, tying the game at seven. . . . Crescenta Valley took a 14-7 lead shortly thereafter when Steve Lightbourne threw a 62-yard touchdown to wide receiver Mike Muhlethaler. . . . On Crescenta Valley’s next possession, Lightbourne threw a 60-yard touchdown to Cotie McMahon with 3:07 left in the third quarter. That made the score 21-7.
