Monterey Park : Traffic Congestion Survey

Motorists on seven major streets are being interviewed by city traffic consultants during peak traffic periods in an effort to find ways to ease traffic congestion. BSI Consultants of San Diego is conducting the interviews from 8 to 10 a.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. weekdays through next Wednesday.
Motorists directed by police officers to roadside interviewers are being asked where their trips originated, where they are going and the purpose of their trips.
The interviews are being conducted on Atlantic Boulevard, Corporate Center and Potrero Grande drives, Monterey Pass Road and Garvey, Garfield and Brooklyn avenues.
