KEY PLAYS
All-City defensive end Eric Williams of Narbonne blocked a punt in the third quarter, picked up the loose ball and ran five yards for the first touchdown of the game. . . . On the next series, two penalties and two sacks put Monroe deep in its territory to set up a safety by John Goad, who sacked quarterback Kesa Harding in the end zone. . . . Monroe came back when a fumble was recovered by Scott Hittleman at the 9, leading to a one-yard scoring plunge by Harding. . . . Narbonne safety Nelson Fields iced the game with a 25-yard interception return for a touchdown.
KEY PLAYERS
Eric Williams (N) had eight unassisted tackles and four sacks as well as a blocked punt for a touchdown. . . . Chris Heuser (N) ran 7 times for 49 yards. . . . Harold Ciccone (M) carried 6 times for 74 yards and caught a pass for 22 yards. . . . Linebacker Brian Eldridge (N) had two interceptions.
