Caremark Enters Venture to Market Home Services

Caremark of Newport Beach said it will join forces with Hospital Corp. of America in a joint venture to market home care services to the more than 390 hospitals the Nashville hospital management company either owns or operates in the United States.
Neither company would disclose terms of the agreement or project the revenue and earnings the new entity is expected to generate. However, a spokeswoman for HCA said the two firms will make equal investments in the yet-unnamed company and will split its profits evenly.
