Local News in Brief : Murder Suspected in Canoga Park Death

A39-year-old Canoga Park man was found dead late Wednesday, the apparent victim of a murder, police said Thursday.
William Arthur Swingler Jr. was discovered by a friend shortly before midnight at his apartment in the 22100 block of Victory Boulevard, said Detective Pat Conmay.
Conmay said there were no suspects, witnesses or known motives.
Investigators are waiting for an autopsy. It appears that Swingler was not shot, Conmay said.
