‘Support for the Justices’

The vicious campaign against Rose Bird has shocked this newcomer to the “wonderful” state of California. Even in Louisiana, the home of dirty politics (and politicians), we have not stooped to attacking the judiciary.
I am glad that Chief Justice Bird has identified her assailants, and I, for one, will be voting against them on Nov. 4.
In fact, the TV campaigns of most of the principals on the California ballot have failed miserably to convince me that California has anyone worth voting for.
