Portland State broke conference records for most points and biggest margin of victory in a 66-7 win over Cal Poly San Luis Obispo last Saturday. . . . Portland’s scoring helped Cal Poly’s Lance Martin set a conference record with 210 kick-return yards. . . . Santa Clara quarterback Greg Calcagno completed 25 passes for 318 yards against Northridge. He is 18 completions and 751 yards short of school career records. Santa Clara split end Kevin Collins has 114 catches for 2,614 yards and is only 75 yards short of a school career receiving record.
Portland State quarterback Chris Crawford and Santa Clara linebacker Josh Whitney were WFC Players of the Week. Crawford threw for 323 yards and four touchdowns against Cal Poly. Whitney was in on 18 tackles against Northridge.
